Model NPLC
Designed to accommodate the demands of of the parking industry, the NPLC is a stand alone or networkable
controller capable of monitoring, remote controlling and storing drive lane activity and transactions. The controller
consists of a single board computer, small format high capacity hard drive and digital I/O connector. The
SBC features video, audio, keyboard, mouse and LAN connectors enabling both field and network interfacing.
The NPLC software may be configured to act independently or in the background as a service to a number of
access and revenue management applications. Interfacing to most all types of readers (mag stripe, proximity,
AVI etc.) in ASCII protocol or Weigand, the NPLC Controller and Software are both powerful and versatile to
handle access control, nesting and transaction monitoring/storage for the most demanding scenarios.
The NPLC Controller is capable of making local decisions based on resident database or may be polled and
updated by host computers in online configurations. Up to two devices may be controlled by the NPLC with additional
four device capability by stacking optional daughter board and I/O terminal block to a maximum of 6 total
inputs.
