Remote Assitance Management Systems

A TOTALLY NEW CUSTOMER SERVICE ENHANCEMENT

RevCon Technology Groups' RAM System has been totally redesigned to offer the widest and most comprehensive hardware and software solution for parking garage customer service enhancement, monitoring and remote control. The system components can be combined to give the parking facility operator 2-way audio communication and optional visual surveillance from the garage base office, while storing the events for later reporting and retrieval. The handheld radios allow management freedom to move about the facility and have remote communication and control of the facility's equipment, call stations or other select devices.

EMERGENCY CALL / GENERAL INFORMATION STATIONS

Call Stations located in stairwells, elevator lobbies or other strategic areas are used as a panic station by depressing the red button. An audible siren is heard, the flashing strobe light activates and an audible voice immediately notifies both the office and handheld radios of the alarm and specific address. Management or security initiates voice contact with the station as they approach the location. The station must be mechanically reset at the device with a key. The call station may also be used as an information station. Patrons may obtain assistance from management or security personnel by depressing the blue button. The event is logged and signaled by the recorded voice from the system announcing from what location the call was initiated. The call is answered and reset by the System Command Center or remote handheld radio keypad. All events are logged and stored on the R.A.M. Command Center. Call stations may also be configured as a phone dialer to dial out to pre-programmed telephone numbers to customer assistance call centers. These stations may be configured with remote vend capability as well.

Modular component design and fiber optic comm/control reduces construction and preinstallation costs by reducing required raceway sizes. Retrofitting an existing facility with the R.A.M. System replacement becomes more cost efficient by utilizing existing raceways and conduit systems.

SYSTEM OPTIONS

  • Intercom communication station interface for pay stations, lane peripherals and elevator cabs.
  • Color video cameras integrated into the faceplates of call stations, paystations and lane peripherals.
  • Integration of ceiling mounted video cameras in stair wells, lobby or cashiering areas, drive lanes and elevator cabs.
  • Digital video archiving. Output signal for third party camera system queing or routing.
  • Emergency Dial Out feature. System will dial out to preprogrammed numbers (cellular phone or 911) if calls are not acknowledged within a specified time period. Cell phones can take over all system functions normally performed via handheld radios.
  
  • Peripheral Controller to enable control of magnetic door strikes, overhead doors, parking barrier gates, slide and swing gates.
  • Miniature horn/strobe combination with proximity door contacts.
  • Moisture, heat, smoke, carbon monoxide, flow switch and glass break detectors. Audible and text alarms will notify the system of trouble in elevator penthouses, equipment and utility rooms.*
  • Lighting contactors and exhaust fan controllers enabling the System to control banks of light fixtures and exhaust fans throughout the facility.
  • Remotely control ramp, directional and occupancy signs.
  • Trigger existing silent alarm or security services.
* The R.A.M. System is designed to enhance the operation of a parking facility. The system is not designed to take the place of Fire Alarm or Security Systems with annunciator panels. The R.A.M. System may be able to interface with third party providers and may require customization. Call or email for more information.
